An Interview with Corona Brady

Today we are thrilled to be sitting down with the talented Corona Brady- Spiritual Coach, Mentor and Kundalini Yoga Teacher. For those of you who aren’t familiar, Corona has a gift as an empath which means she can feel and sense what’s going on for people at a deep level. Through her 1:1 coaching, she offers tools to empower and awaken women to their truth in every area of their life.  Corona is on a mission to awaken women to their truth and to share the teachings of Kundalini Yoga (that have been absolutely instrumental in her journey) with as many people as possible.  And so today we are thrilled to have Corona in our hot seat- sharing insights into her amazing journey of becoming a Kundalini Teacher and what has been her greatest challenge yet!

The best part of my job is…

Getting to work with and support incredible women through their various stages in life everyday (from all over the world). Whether it’s through my 1:1 coaching, women’s circles, yoga classes or retreats, it’s truly inspiring to witness and watch their transformations unfold in every area of their life. I feel deeply privileged for the opportunity to be their facilitator.  This is what truly lights me up! It’s also so nice to be able to create my own flexible lifestyle.

I chose to enter this field of work because…

From a very young age I had a burning desire to make a difference in the world. I got lost in my 20’s and was caught up in constantly seeking outside of myself for happiness in “things”. An illness gave me the wake up call I needed. It was clear as daylight that I needed to change my life and that is when my inner quest and journey began. It is through this deep inner journey of healing my voice, reclaiming my power and owning my light that my life changed for the better. I’m on a heart and soul mission to teach women to become that magnetic, radiant woman that lives her truth.

The greatest challenge in my career has been…

Self-doubt and lack of self-trust really plagued my mind in the start up phase of my business. After 12 years of working in banking, my greatest challenge was to trust in myself and that I could make a living out of doing what I loved. For the first 6 months, it brought up a great deal of anxiety for me. So much so that I ended up in hospital with a panic attack!

The funniest misconceptions about my industry/company/brand are…

That as a coach and teacher “my life is perfect” and that “I have everything sorted”. I honestly wouldn’t like my life to be perfect! Challenges/hurdles/obstacles are all part of life and my life without a doubt is most certainly not free of these! However, I’m blessed to have the tools, practices and techniques to work through what comes up for me and move through it in an empowering way.

The most influential person in my career has been…

My Kinesiologist Kim O’Brien, she planted the seed for me to quit my corporate job and set up my own business.

If I could give one piece of advice to my 18-year-old self, it would be…

You’ve got a voice and beautiful light. Speak up and let it shine brightly. Don’t dimmer your light for anyone.

My greatest achievement has been…

Getting to where I am today in my life and business.

I still can’t quite believe that I’ve managed to successfully create 2 online programs (with another one in creation mode at the moment) serving 100’s of women throughout the world, coaching and mentoring over 200 women 1:1, running 2 retreats this year (which I hope to be the first of many) as well as sold out workshops and kundalini courses all by myself!

It’s all beyond my wildest dreams!

And the great thing is, that I’m honestly only getting started! There’s so much more in me to be of service and give to this world

The greatest personal challenge I have over come is…

Overcoming social anxiety and depression

I don’t understand why…

Women will invest in fancy shoes, clothes and night’s out but they won’t invest in their personal growth.

I try to relax by…

Getting to the ocean in Bronte, just hearing the sound of the waves calms and soothes my mind. Also nothing beats lying on the grass barefoot!

I can’t live without…

Greens. Green juice. Green vegetables.

I really wish I had…

My own garden to grow my own vegetables!

The greatest lesson I have learnt is…

What you love is seeking you. Follow the call.

If I had one super power, it would be…

To fly. To be able to fly myself back home to Ireland in the blink of an eye.

If I could invite four people to a dinner party, they’d be…

Marianne Williamson, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa (Kundalini Yoga Teacher), Deepak Chopra and of course my hubby Dave!

BIO

12 years of climbing the corporate ladder, across multiple continents, could not have taken Corona further away from her soul. The result? She got physically sick. She was diagnosed with severe adrenal exhaustion. Her endocrine system completely shut down, resulting in liver damage, constant fatigue, as well as menstrual, hormonal, and blood sugar issues. Add polycystic ovarian syndrome and insulin resistance to the mix and she was left with two choices: medicate and soldier on OR reassess her life.
She chose to reassess her life and she finally built up the courage to leave her corporate job.

Corona is now a Spiritual Coach, Mentor and Kundalini Yoga Teacher based in the Eastern Subburbs of Sydney. She works with busy women (from all over the world), who are feeling tired, burned out and stuck, teaching and empowering them to a new of living.

Corona believes that it’s every womans birthright to awaken to her truth, honour and value her worth and live a life of passion, purpose, joy and peace.

And ultimately become that magnetic, radiant woman that lives her truth.

She has a gift as an empath which means she can feel and sense what’s going on for people at a deep level. Through her 1:1 coaching, she offers tools to empower and awaken women to their truth in every area of their life.

Corona is on a heart and soul mission to awaken women to their truth and to share the teachings of Kundalini Yoga (that have been absolutely instrumental in her journey) with as many people as possible.

  1. Wonderful interview ladies.

Corona is a beautiful shining light and I loved reading these questions and answers.

    I especially loved this part:

“I don’t understand why…Women will invest in fancy shoes, clothes and night’s out but they won’t invest in their personal growth.”

    I couldn’t agree more.
