10 CLIENTS IN 10 DAYS

Business can be difficult.

Whether you’re running a health and fitness business or you’re looking to get one off the ground, it’s no secret that business can be more difficult than ever before.

It’s also true that business and reaching the right clients is much, much easier than ever before. Since the addition of social media into society – as well as the internet allowing us to reach a global audience – it makes it much easier and simpler than ever before to attract clients to your business.

Yet, as a business mentor with five years experience helping people grow their businesses to a position where they have an endless supply of clients, we find that one of the biggest challenges small businesses in any industry face is in the ability to generate the right leads that will turn into clients.

So, in this article, I want to put together for you just a few simple ways that will allow you to generate 10 clients in the next 10 days – or less.

Sound too good to be true? It’s not.

Generating clients for your business is actually much simpler than you’d think, but you need to ensure you’re taking the right actions. It’s no good going out there and taking any action when you have no idea whether they’ll warrant the results that you want. The only thing that matters is that you are taking actions that will generate leads who will eventually turn into paying clients.

Here are five steps that will help you generate 10 clients in the next 10 days:

One

Know Your Target Market

First, you must understand your target market. Ask yourself, who is my ideal client? How old are they? Where do they live? Where do they hang out? What type of people do they follow? What actions do they take? What are the fears, pains, frustrations, and challenges that they face on a daily basis?

It’s important that you understand your target market better than they know themselves. Through answering these questions, it will allow you to do so.

Two

Create Your 100 List

What is a 100 list? It’s a list of one hundred people, colleagues, past clients, or anybody within your network that can fit closely within your target market that you are able to make a connection with.

At this point, if you’re just getting your business off the ground, you may be feeling like you will take any client. While that’s okay to begin with, once you understand your target market and become very refined on who they are, it is important that you find a hundred people that are the ideal target client for you.

For now, do the best you can, and we’ll build out more as you go.

Reach Out

There are three main ways you can connect with people today: on the phone, via email, or by sending them a message on social media. Over the next five to 10 days, get contacting every single member on your 100 list and ask them if they would be interested in the product or service that you’re offering.

Remember, we provide a solution to a problem in business, we’re not selling something to somebody. So, when you are having conversations with people, it’s important to outline the challenges that they have. Then, you’ll want to highlight these challenges to help overcome the barriers preventing them from achieving the goals they’re after.

Four

Build Authority

Personally, I think this is a massively overused term, but the underlying principles remain. It’s important that you are seen as somebody who is a leader in your industry or the go to person when they think about their problem and how to solve it. But how can we build authority in today’s day and age?

You can begin by creating posts on social media that inspire them. You can record videos of yourself talking about some of the problems these people might have and what they can do to overcome them. You can start blogging and connecting with other influencers in your industry. You can even run a podcast. There are many different ways to do it.

Keep it simple initially. Make some basic posts on social media, get some engagement, and start reaching out to people who you’ve engaged with. Put yourself out there to see if they would be interested in your product or service. Always remember to show you have the solution to the problem that they have.

Ask for Referrals

Go to your current clients and previous clients and ask them for referrals. If you’re not sure how to do this, try something like this…

“Hi Julie. I was just wondering how everything is going and if you’ve enjoyed working with me.” When they respond that everything is going great, ask the question, “Could you give me the names of two or three people that may be interested in getting the same result as we’ve been able to give you?”

This should generate multiple referrals right away.
